Tech Hub Resources
The 3C2A Tech Hub portal is an online tool to assist institutions with compliance of 3C2A legislation. Phase one implementation of the new Tech Hub includes a new Roster/Form 3 system that automatically populates information for student-athletes who complete an online Form 1.
Access to the Tech Hub is managed by the designated Athletic Director (AD) at the 3C2A member college. Requesting authorized users is within the profile of the AD and all requests are processed by the 3C2A state office.
Phase two provided Tech Hub portal accounts for student-athletes and head coaches. Plus Form 4 - Injury/Illness Appeals submitted online.
The California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) provides institutions the ability to determine and assign access to the 3C2A Tech Hub. Institutions should take care to protect data by providing access as needed to administer actions of the institution and the association.

Online Form 1 webpage link is located on the Tech Hub Portal dashboard within News and Updates. Returning student-athletes login with the link provided above.
Announcements (Updated 12/10/25)
The End of Season Submission process will be available after the training (see date/time below). Please be sure all your fall sports have been approved online in the Tech Hub for the Beginning of Season submission process. ALL student-athletes approved via the Temporary paper certification process MUST be advanced onto the Roster/Form 3 in the Tech Hub to a status of Verified.

Waiver of Bylaw 1.4.3 Submission Deadline: Please note that deadline to submit the End of Season Roster/Form 3 no later than ten (10) working days after the conclusion of the competitive season has been waived.
After the conclusion of the training, colleges will be able to launch their End of Season submissions.

Multi-Sport Student-Athletes & Completing a new Form 1
Multi-sport student-athletes will login to the Tech Hub Portal and click on the “Submit Your Form 1” tile or header. This will prompt them to complete an updated Form 1 for the additional sport. Upon completion they will automatically populate on that sports Roster/Form 3 for the college.
Is a SA Cleared for Competition?
Here’s a guide to the various Verification Status types that are color coded. Once an AD approves a Roster/Form 3 for the Beginning of Season Submission process the eligible student-athletes are cleared to compete. The status type will show Pending Commissioner Review.
Resubmitting a SA that a Head Coach Removes
- Head Coaches now approve their SA’s via the Tech Hub Portal as users of the system with a unique Head Coach portal experience.
- If SA’s have been cut, quit or left the college and were previously approved via the Paper Temporary Certification Process, these SA’s must be advanced and approved online now as well.

Responding to when a Commissioner Requests Review of a SA
- AD Approval clears SA’s for competition, the SA’s Verification Status will be Pending Commissioner Review.
- Commissioners will Verify the SA’s with either two different verification types:
- Verified – SA’s remain eligible to compete.
- Review Requested by Commissioner – SA’s remain eligible to compete unless the college believes the SA is academically ineligible or has exhausted their eligibility in the sport. - Reports – Due to all the changes the reports are not populating correctly.
- Tracking Adjustment Requests sent to the student-athletes (SA).
- Previous Seasons of Competition as of 2025-26 – We are working on developing this data set to include prior seasons used outside of the 3C2A, within the 3C2A, appeals granted and dropped sports as they impact this data set.
Commonly Asked Questions: Tech Hub 2.0
Question: Why can’t I find a returning student-athlete who filled out a Form 1 on my Roster?
Answer: Many times, it’s because the student-athlete filled out a Form 1 as if they were a new student-athlete. The returners must follow the instructions online to establish a Tech Hub account, login and submit a short Form 1 as a returner. They will then populate on your Roster/Form 3 once they successfully complete these steps.
Question: My student-athlete is not getting the email to establish their Tech Hub account (e.g., password reset email from Salesforce)?
Answer: It can be for any of the following reasons: 1) Email in-box is full. 2) They are using a different email address from before, please check your Global Search to see their email address. 3) They are typing in their information incorrectly, so the system is not matching them. 4) Email the Tech Hub email address the SA’s name, sport and email address we can update it or resend out the reset password email manually.
Eligibility Specialists/Athletic Directors – What can we edit in the system verses the student-athletes? See below list for guidance before reaching out to the Tech Hub email for assistance.
Student-Athletes can update the following fields in their My Profile of the Tech Hub Portal:
- Preferred Name,
- Student ID number,
- Race/Ethnicity,
- Phone number,
- Email address,
- Housing information
Student-Athletes can update the following fields in these additional areas of the Tech Hub Portal:
- Enrollment at a 3C2A College (My Enrollment Tile),
- Sports Participation: History of participation (Sports Participation Tile), and
- Life Experiences: Gaps of enrollment information (Life Experience Tile).
The College ES/AD can update the following fields within the SA profile page (within Rosters/Form 3 > Student-Athlete/Form 1 – Click Certify Student hyperlink):
- Name – Within Student-Athletes > My Student-Athletes
- Student ID,
- DOB,
- High School Attended information,
- Current College information,
- Life Experiences (e.g., Employment, Unemployment, Armed Services, Church Mission, Other/Unknown),
- Sports History (Sports Participation).
The College ES/AD can request a Student-Athlete make an adjustment to the following items via the Tech Hub:
- Felony Disclosure Response,
- NIL Authorization,
- Professional Sport Question,
- Sports Participation and
- Life Experience.
College ES/AD cannot currently update the following areas of the system and can contact the Tech Hub for assistance.
- Form 1 Response data (e.g., phone number, email addresses, current address).

Student-Athletes Form 1 – Please review!
The following user guides are to be used when conducting eligibility meetings with 3C2A student-athletes to complete their eligibility online Form 1. We strongly encourage colleges to break up their meetings by the following groups: Group 1) First-time College Students + New Transfers from outside of the 3C2A students; Group 2) Returning 3C2A Student-Athletes + Transfers within the 3C2A.
Student-Athletes will establish 3C2A Tech Hub Portal Accounts, their username will be their personal email, and they will be prompted to establish a password.
