About the CCCWBCA
The California Community College Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (CCCWBCA) was founded in 1985 with the following purposes and objectives, as stated in its Constitution:
- To develop within the coaches of our organization a deep sense of responsibility for maintaining and conducting athletics at the highest possible standards.
- To provide the opportunity for coaches of women’s basketball at community colleges throughout the state to join in a common effort for the improvement of programs for our athletes and to develop a unified voice for communicating our needs.
- To advocate fair competition and sportsmanship in our basketball players, on and off the court.
- To improve the level of play and to work toward the improvement of techniques and playing conditions.
- To work closely with the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) for the achievement of these objectives.
