Gonzalez, Hastin garner weekly honors
LOS ANGELES, Calif – Gisele Gonzalez of Palomar College and Taylor Hastin of the College of the Sequoias each played major roles in their teams’ success this past week, notching the third California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association Player and Pitcher of the Week honors of the 2025 season.
Gonzalez was a force at the plate, hitting safely in six of her seven at bats in the Comets’ victories. She led the team, going 3-for-4 with a double in a 5-4 victory over No. 7 Mt. San Antonio College.
