Week #11 Players of the Week Announced

The California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association is pleased to announce it's Week #11 State Players of the Week.  Citrus College's Jessica Brown and Butte College's Kiley Mansfield earn this week's honors.  

Player of the Week – Jessica Brown – Citrus College

Citrus College freshman catcher helped the Owls go 4-0 on the week and had a monster week at the plate. Brown was a combined 10 for 15 (.667 batting average) with eight runs scored and nine RBI's. Six of Brown's 10 hits went for extra bases, including four home runs. Brown slugged 1.600 on the week, as Citrus won crucial conference contests over College of the Canyons and Antelope Valley College. Brown hails from Rancho Cucamonga, CA where she prepped at Alta Loma High School.

 Player of the Week – Kiley Mansfield – Butte College

Freshman first baseman Kiley Mansfield helped lead the Roadrunners to four wins during the week, and surge to first place in the Golden Valley Conference and #8 ranking in Northern California. Mansfield batted 11 for 14 (.786) on the week, driving in nine RBI's, and scoring seven runs of her own. Mansfield had a double and three home runs on the week for a 1.500 slugging percentage. Mansfield prepped at Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, CA.
