Week #9 Players of the Week Announced

The California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association is pleased to announce it's Week #9 State Players of the Week.  San Jose City College's Kallie Klinger and Saddleback College's Jessica Angulo earned the honors

Player of the Week - Kallie Klinger - San Jose City College

San Jose City College sophomore Kallie Klinger is the Week #9 Player of the Week. Klinger earned the honors after her efforts at the plate in the lead-off spot for the Jaguars. On the week, Klinger went 8 of 15 (.533) with seven runs driven in. Klinger scored five runs, drew two walks and stole four bases, hitting a triple for good measure. The second baseman prepped at Sobrato High School in Morgan Hill, CA.

Player of the Week - Jessica Angulo - Saddleback College

Sophomore Jessica Angulo of Saddleback College had an impressive week at the plate for the Gauchos as she helped them to five wins. Angulo went a combined 14 of 18 with seven runs scored and 10 RBI's. Angulo also terrorized opposing defenses on the base paths with eight stolen bases. Angulo prepped at Norco High School in Norco, CA.
