Week #8 Players and Pitchers of the Week Announced
The California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association is pleased to announce it's Week #8 State Players of the Week. Palomar College's Kali Pugh and Solano College's Andrinae White shared this week's Player of the Week honors..
Player of the Week – Kali Pugh – Palomar College
Palomar College sophomore Kali Pugh was named the 3CFCA Player of the Week for Week #8 thanks to her performance over two contests last week against State #15 Santa Ana College and over conference rival Southwestern College. Against the Dons, Pugh was 3 for 4 with a double, three RBIs, a run, and a stolen base as the Comets avenged their only loss of the season with a 7-1 victory. Against the Jaguars Pugh was a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate with a home run, a triple, four runs scored, and four RBIs. Pugh prepped at Rancho Buena Vista High School and hails from Vista, CA.
Player of the Week Andrinae White – Solano College
Solano College sophomore Andrinae White is the 3CFCA Player of the Week for Week #8 after her play in a crucial Bay Valley Conference double-header against Yuba College. White went 4 for 5 at the plate on the day, hitting a home run, a triple, and driving in four RBIs as Solano remained undefeated and in first place in the Bay Valley. White prepped at St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School in Vallejo, CA.
