Bio

Rebecca Ensing, a former student-athlete at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria and most recently a client relations account executive with the University of California, Berkeley athletics program, joined the CCCAA as Assistant Director of Operations in October 2022.

Ensing focuses on assisting with the execution of all 26 CCCAA championships while helping to enhance the CCCAA brand through its social media channels. Ensing also serves as a primary contact for events, conventions and meetings, including sponsor fulfillment.

She most recently was a key member of the Cal Athletics Ticket Office where she was responsible for building and maintaining relations with season ticket holders for several of the program’s ticketed programs. Ensing helped plan and execute several events, including Cal’s Select-A-Seat event, assisted with revenue generation through season seat renewals and new business sales, and was a primary contact for season ticket holders and the public on game days.

Ensing began her collegiate education at Allan Hancock College, competing as a member of the women’s swimming and diving team and serving as president of the Bulldog Recreation Club. She also was a student worker in the athletics department and helped spearhead efforts aimed at bringing a full-time academic counselor to the athletics program; an effort that was ultimately successful.

After receiving her associate's degree in 2016, she transferred to San Diego State where she graduated in 2018 with her bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration. Ensing is currently a master’s degree candidate in Sport Management, which she plans to complete next Spring.
