SALINAS - The 5CTCA would like to congratulate the following student-athletes for their outstanding performances during Week #10.
Jimmy Dominguez of Orange Coast was the Orange Empire Conference runner-up in 20:13. Dominguez, a freshman, has been a consistent performer all season with an 8km season best of 25:09 run at the John Elders Titan Invite and a third-place finish at the Socal Preview Meet earlier in the season.
Sequoia Gonzales, an El Camino College sophomore, placed second at the South Coast Conference Championship in 18:20, just 4 seconds off the win. Gonzales has been the top runner for ECC all season and was recently runner-up at the Mt. SAC Invitational and Chaffey College Invitational.
Jackson Davis is in his first fall for the reborn cross country program at Lake Tahoe Community College. Davis became LTCC's first conference champion winning the Golden Valley Conference title in 21:30.
