In a game that saw both teams with opportunites to win West Hills was able to stick their nose out in front when Moises Martinez (Selma High) recieved a through ball from Estevan Gonzales (Sunnyside High) and passed it past the Fresno City goalkeeper. The Eagles held an edge in shots taken 11 to Fresno's 6 and each team had over 5 corner kicks.
Goals did not come easy for either team in this back and forth match and now with the first game of conference under their belts the Eagles will take on College of the Sequoias in Visalia the 2nd of October at 4pm. Fresno will travel to rival Taft College on the 2nd of October and will kick off at 3pm.
