Oakland, Calif. - The Solano baseball team was unable to overcome a pair of runs deficit early and was edged by Laney, 4-2, on Thursday afternoon.

Freshmen Nico Castrillo and Chasyn Love both earned multi-hit games with Castrillo adding a RBI. Freshman Dillon Nosrati earned the team's lone extra-base hit with a double, tacking on a RBI.

Freshman starter lefty Dylan Tostrup (0-3) was the pitcher of record for the Falcons, tossing three complete and allowing three hits with four strikeouts. 

Solano (2-13) wraps up pre-conference tournament play against Mendocino at home on Thursday, Mar. 10. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m.
