City Dominates With a 41-Point Win Over Mesa
The Knights (19-4, 7-1 PCAC) shot over 60% for the second straight game as they defeated Mesa, 112-71, at Harry West Gym in dominating fashion. Six Knights scored in double figures, including Al Green who led with 20 points, four rebounds, six assists, and five steals in City's sixth consecutive win over their PCAC rival.

Anjay Cortez ended up with 16 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks. Kailen Rains added 19 points and six rebounds, and Anthony Howell put up 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks.
The Knights' bench outscored Mesa's, 38-13, with Lorenzo Wright and Benjamin Todd each scoring 12 points.
City scored the first seven points of the game and never looked back as their lead grew to 54-35 by halftime.
The Knights shot 59% in the first half, but were even better in the second half as they knocked down 62.5% of their attempts while making 4-of-9 from beyond the arc.
San Diego City only committed six turnovers on Monday, while forcing Mesa into 17 and the Knights turned those into 26 points.
The Knights outrebounded Mesa, 42-26, and outscored the Olympians, 72-34, on points in the paint as they went on to earn their second largest win of the season.
They will be back in action on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Southwestern and will be back at Harry West Gym on Friday against Imperial Valley who the Knights defeated 105-37 on January 11.
The latest CCCMBCA poll was released during Monday's game and the Knights fell three spots to No. 11 in the state.
