SMC Knocks Off Moorpark College in 4 Sets

The SMC Corsair's Men's Volleyball team bounced back from a hard-fought game on Wednesday to hand Moorpark their first loss in conference play this season. SMC won 3-1 after jumping out to a 2-0 lead despite Moorpark's team having not lost a single set in almost two weeks.

The team fought hard against one of the better teams in the Western State Conference and gave MC their first conference loss. The crowd was amazing and loud and everyone got an opportunity from the bench to contribute to the win.

On the Court:

Mason Johnson kept up his great play from the Wednesday match vs El Camino and led the team with kills.

Elijah Chambers led the team with great sets and energy all around.

Javier Castillo led the defense alongside Kane Schwengel.
