WILMINGTON, Calif. - El Camino College scored six unanswered runs to overcome Los Angeles Harbor College in a comeback 9-5 win on the road on Tuesday afternoon.

The Warriors (12-6, 6-1) fell behind 5-3 in the fourth inning after the Seahawks (8-9, 2-2) put up a five-spot.  The Warriors rallied by scoring runs in each of the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth inning to overcome the Seahawks.

Benny Casillas had a career day at the plate after leading the Warriors 19-hit game by going 5-for-5 with two runs and one RBI. All nine Warriors in the starting lineup had at least one hit for the game.  Chase Cosner, Neil Feist, Crixtian Taveras, Juan Carlos Camarena, and Julian Diaz all had multi-hit games for the Warriors.

Jimmy Galicia got the win after throwing six innings and allowing five runs on six hits, three walks, and striking out ten batters. Joey Acosta picked up his second save of the season after throwing three scoreless innings in the final three frames.

The Warriors took the lead in the first inning after Benny Casillas and Chase Cosner started the game off with back-to-back hits.  Aaron Orozco singled in Casillas on a RBI single.

The Warriors added two more runs in the fourth to go ahead 3-0.  Juan Carlos Camarena singled, Julian Diaz was hit by a pitch, and Casillas drew a walk to load the bases with one out.  Cosner brought in one run on a walk and Diego Alarcon brought in another run on a sac fly.

The Seahawks added five runs in the bottom of the fourth to lead 5-3.  The Seahawks loaded the bases with one out before scoring runs on a single, a bases-clearing triple, and a RBI groundout.

But the Warriors didn't let that get them down as they responded immediately in the fifth inning with three runs of their own.  Chris Villavicencio, Neil Feist, and Crixtian Taveras led the inning off with back-to-back-to-back singles to load the bases. Julian Diaz and Benny Casillas both hit RBI singles and Taveras scored on a passed ball to make it a 6-5 game.

The Warriors added three more insurance runs by scoring one run in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings. Juan Carlos Camerna singled in Neil Feist in the sixth inning.  Chase Cosner singled in Benny Casillas in the seventh inning. Juan Carlos Camarena hit a solo home run in the eighth inning to make it a 9-5 game.

The Warriors will look to take their third series-in-a-row to start South Coast Conference play when they host LA Harbor on Thursday, March 5th.  First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
