Falcons Come Up Short against Sierra

Fairfield, Calif. - The Falcons came up short against Sierra on Tuesday, falling 9-0 and 18-2, both in five innings.

Freshman Kenadi Akin was the lone Solano batter to earn a hit in each game with a solo homer in the second inning of the second game.

In the circle, freshmen Kiera Edwards and Gracie Alves were the pitchers of record in each game with Edwards making appearances in both games, throwing 0.2 innings in second game.

Solano (3-7) heads to Diablo Valley next for a doubleheader on Friday, May 14. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
