GLENDORA - Dolly Stevens and Paige Johnson each hit solo home runs to help lead the Marauder softball team to a 7-1 victory over Citrus College, Thursday afternoon.
With the victory, AVC extended its winning streak to 15 games. Its last loss came against Palomar College on Feb. 24.
Stevens' home run came in the top of the second inning and gave the Marauders a 1-0 lead. The Owls responded to tie the score 1-1.
The Marauders exploded with five runs in the top of the fifth inning and put the icing on with another run in the seventh for the victory.
Morgan Arndt (14-2) allowed 10 hits, but only one run and helped herself out at the plate with two RBI.
