No. 8-ranked Riverside City College couldn't hold off No. 3-ranked Saddleback College in a 5-0 loss Friday afternoon.
The Tigers drop to 13-5 overall and 1-1 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Bobcats improve to 13-5 on the year, 1-1 in the OEC.
Four Tigers had hits in the game, with Ian Nguyen (2-for-4) and Alex Gamez (2-for-2) leading the charge. Riki Kubota (1-for-1) and Eddie Alfaro (1-for-2) also had hits in the game.
Riverside and Saddleback close out the series on Saturday at 12 p.m.
