LANCASTER - After an impressive start to the season, the Marauder women's soccer team has been held in check its past two games.
Cindy Martin scored her fifth goal of the season in the 14th minute of the game, but AVC could not capitalize off that early momentum and let winless Pasadena City College hang around until it got a goal in the second half and ended in a 1-1 tie, Friday evening at Marauder Stadium.
Martin's goal was assisted by Mackenzie Broderick, her third of the season. Broderick ranks in the top four in the state in goals scored (six) this season.
The Marauders (3-2-2) had a streak of four games in which they scored a total of 12 goals, however, their last two games they have only managed one.
The Lancers (0-3-2) got their goal in the second half off the foot of Isabel Diaz (65:58).
