Renegades extend winning streak to 6 with sweeps at Skyline

SAN BRUNO – The wins keep coming for the Ohlone College women's volleyball team.
On Friday, the Renegades cruised to the sixth consecutive win after sweeping both College of the Siskiyous and Contra Costa College at the Skyline College quad. Ohlone improved to 10-2 overall.
Ohlone opened the event with a 25-18, 28-26, 25-23 win over Siskiyous. Hannah Issenmann and Savannah Le both had 7 kills each to lead the offense.
Alicia Cornejo had a team-best 16 digs. Ruby Santos paced the Renegades with 15 assists and totaled 13 digs. Kaylie Gomes also had a solid match with 10 digs and a pair of aces.
That was followed by a dominant 25-3, 25-9, 25-13 victory over Contra Costa.
Rilee Nobori had a big match with 11 kills while Avery Bland added 7 kills. Gomes led with 8 digs and Santos had 11 assists.
The Renegades are back in action on Wednesday (Sep. 25) when they travel to De Anza College for a 6:30 p.m. Coast Conference interdivision match.
