Fremont, Calif - The College of the Sequoias softball team struggled to figure out Ohlone pitcher Nalani Scate in game one of the best-of-three NorCal Regional series in Fremont on Friday.
Scates tossed a complete game en route to a 2-0 victory for Ohlone.
The Giants managed six hits and one walk in game one.
Ashley Guzman and Ashley Paradine each pitched three inning for COS.
Game two is Saturday at 12 p.m., and if necessary, game three is at 2 p.m.
