OXNARD - Women's Soccer went 0-1-1 in the Oxnard SeaBreeze Tournament over the weekend.
In the first game for the Giants, they tied 4-4 with Antelope Valley. The high scoring game saw all eight goals scored in the first half.
After going down 1-0, sophomore midfielder Kristen Castellanoz evened it up in the 15'.
COS forward Hunter Lapp (Redwood) scored a hat-trick in 23 minutes. Her goals came in the 24', 27', and 42'.
The Giants just couldn't get passed Marauder goalkeeper Gabriela Espinoza in the second half as she finished with 7 saves.
COS goalkeeper Aubrey Mills finished with 8 saves on the day.
In the second game of the tournament, Sequoias fell 3-1 to Citrus. Lapp scored the lone goal for the Giants in the 84'.
Sequoias will host Bakersfield at Riverway Park on Wednesday with kickoff set for 4 p.m.
