No. 19 Las Positas plays No. 20 Cabrillo to scoreless draw

With just two games left to play, the No. 19 state-ranked Las Positas College women's soccer team finds itself in third place in the Coast Conference North Division standings after a 0-0 tie against No. 20 Cabrillo College on Friday.

The Hawks and goalkeeper Diana Mihalache posted their 12th shutout of the season, including their fifth over the last six games. Despite the great defense during that span, LPC has just two wins to show.

The Hawks got off to a fantastic start in non-conference play and with a 10-3-3 overall record, LPC currently holds No. 15 spot in the Northern California power points rankings.

A pair of wins to close out the season would greatly help the Hawks' playoff position. They travel to West Valley College on Tuesday (Nov. 10) and close out the regular season next Friday, hosting Foothill College.
