LANCASTER - Angelica Ochoa and Priscella Panizo each had a home run in the Marauder softball team's victory over East Los Angeles College, 5-3, Friday afternoon at Antelope Valley College.
AVC trailed 2-0 entering the bottom of the fourth inning. Erica Serfoss led off the inning with a single and with one out Ochoa smacked a home run over the center field fence which tied the score at that point, 2-2.
The Huskies scored their final run in the top of the fifth inning, but the Marauders quickly erased that lead with a run of their own in the bottom half of the inning to tie the score.
With the score tied, 3-3, in the bottom of the sixth inning, Panizo hit her first home run of the season over center field and AVC led for good.
