LANCASTER - The Marauder women's soccer team dropped to 0-2 in conference play after falling to first-place College of the Canyons, Friday afternoon at Antelope Valley College.
The Cougars defense held AVC to only four shot the entire match. COC received goals from Jackie Mendez at 16:15 and Jad Ane at the 26:16 mark. Both goals came in the first half.
"I think the girls will learn many important lessons from this game from which they will improve," AVC head coach Charles Gordon said. "They continue to gain experience and improve each day."
The Marauders host Citrus College on Tuesday at 2pm.
