LANCASTER - The Marauder softball team had no problems with LA Valley College as it swept a pair from the Monarchs, 10-2 and 16-1, Tuesday afternoon at Marauder Stadium.
Dolly Stevens was 3-for-3 in the first game and Valerie Dorantes was 4-for-4 with four runs scored and one RBI.
In both games Paige Johnson combined for seven RBI to added to her state leading 45 on the season. In the second game she was 3-for-3 with four RBI and three runs scored. Johnson, Dorantes and Stevens combined for 13 RBI in the second game.
Morgan Arndt (9-2) won her sixth game in a row by earning the victory in the first game as she pitched three innings allowing no runs, three hits while striking out three. Kyrstan Cook was just as solid in the second game throwing five innings and allowing only two hits and one earned run.
