Vikings cruise to sweep of Antelope Valley
On March 13, the Long Beach City College Vikings faced off against the Antelope Valley Marauders in a fast-paced college men's volleyball match. With Long Beach City College playing as the home team, the match was set to be an exciting one for the local fans.

LBCC started off strong, quickly taking the lead in the first set. The team's starting outside hitter, Matthew Pennala from St. John Bosco, played an outstanding game, leading the team with 16 points, recording four digs, and an impressive 91% kill percentage. The starting setter, Sean Nguyen, also played an instrumental role in the team's success, recording 32 assists throughout the match.
 
Shane Nhem, a middle blocker for the Long Beach City College team, also had an impressive match, recording a 67% kill percentage. Georgi Binev, an outside hitter, scored eight kills and 10 points, contributing to the team's success. With a total of 33 kills on 67 attacks, the Long Beach City College team dominated the match, scoring a total of 52 match points. Antelope Valley put up a valiant effort but was unable to keep up with the Long Beach City College team's fast pace and impressive gameplay.

As the match came to a close, the Long Beach City College Vikings celebrated their victory, winning easily in three sets. The team's impressive performance has set high expectations for their upcoming match against Golden West College on March 15 at 6 pm.
