The Gladiators keep coming close against some very strong teams.
In a 1-0 loss to Foothill on Oct. 26, Gladiators goalkeeper Abigail Burnell stepped up with six saves.
Against City College of San Francisco on Oct. 23, Chabot dropped a cliffhanger against the perennial NorCal power, 3-2. Chabot got two assists from Borami Schwartz and a goal apiece from Alia Morris and Marisol Martinez.
CCSF broke the 2-2 tie on a penalty kick goal by Lauren Inman in the 65th minute. Burnell had six saves.
The Gladiators will be hungry for a win when they host Cabrillo at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 in the Coast-North.
