Despite having hot bats for the past two games, Riverside City College couldn't make it three in a row in a 5-2 loss at Palomar College Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers drop to 9-3 on the year, while the Comets improve to 8-5 overall.
Riverside only had three hits in the game, one each from Dylan Nelson (1-for-4), Marc DiCarlo, Jr. (1-for-4) and Ian Nguyen (1-for-3).
RCC looks to bounce back on Monday as it kicks off a busy week of four games in five days. The Tigers first head to Grossmont College on Monday at 1 p.m. before returning home to host West LA on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
