The Sacramento City College Panthers got off to slow start with lack of offensive execution for most of the game especially in the first half. The Panthers defense was on field quite a bit in the first half and the Wolverines with quarterbacks rotating in out each quarter went into halftime leading 28-0. Sacramento City's freshman DB (#24) Raphael Lewis was able to return a blocked extra point conversion by Sierra for a 98 yards score in the third quarter for City's first points of the game. Later in the second half the Panthers freshman QB (#15) Taylor Laird completed a 14 yard touchdown throw to freshman WR (#87) Tim Robinson capping a 6 play 31 yard drive late in the third quarter. Sac City was then able to finish off a 8 play 87 yards drive in the fourth quarter with freshman QB (#15) Taylor Laird throwing a 16 yard touchdown pass to freshman WR (#13) Keith Brown. The Panthers will look to execute better on both sides of the ball next week after gaining 180 yards of total offense and defensively allowing the Sierra Wolverines to earn 452 yards of total offense.
