Walnut, Calif. —The Mt. SAC Women's Tennis Team opened the 2025 season with a non-conference victory over College of the Canyons on Friday, January 24. The Mounties won two out of three doubles matches and five out of six singles matches for an overall score of 7-2.

Singles wins came from Paige Valenzuela (6-3, 6-2), Kasandra Uy (6-0, 6-3), Mia Vo (6-0, 6-3), Sichen Chang (6-4, 6-4) and Emma Cervantes (6-4, 6-2).

On the doubles side, Valenzuela and Uy combined for an 8-3 win, while Chang and Vo also defeated their opponents 8-3.
