The American River College Softball program improved to 5-4 in conference after defeating Sacramento City on the road and splitting their doubleheader against Folsom Lake College at home.
Against Sacramento City College, the Beavers picked up the 5-1 victory behind pitcher Felisha Lapenske's strong performance on the mound.
Agaisnt Folsom Lake College, the Beavers would drop the first game in a competitive contest by a final score of 4-3. However, the Beavers would bounce back with a 9-4 victory. Jennifer Wylie and Madison Demmon would each score two runs to lead the Beavers.
The Beavers will now prepare to play Sierra College at home on Tuesday, March 18th, at 11 AM.
