Oroville, Calif. - Sophomore Sander Trevor netted his second goal of the season, but the Butte men's soccer team dropped a 4-1 contest to Cosumnes River on Tuesday afternoon.
Trevor scored in the 7th minute to equalize the match after an early goal by the Hawks, but despite three more shots on goal, the Roadrunners were unable to find the back of the net.
Sophomore Louis Hester played all 90 minutes in the goal, counting three saves.
Butte (0-1-1) returns to play on Friday, Sept. 2 at Yuba. Match time is set for 4 p.m.
