LANCASTER - Mackenzie Broderick scored her second hat trick of the season helping the Marauder women's soccer team easily defeat Glendale College, 5-0, Tuesday afternoon at Marauder Stadium.
Broderick, who now has nine goals on the season and leads the state in goals and points, scored two in the second and added another in the third. Earlier this season she scored three goals against College of the Sequoias.
AVC (4-2-2) had its offense stalled the past two games only scoring one goal but exploded against the Vaqueros (0-3-2) getting its offense back on track.
"We just played like a team and played like a team and hopefully we can continue it," said Broderick. "The last couple of games I have been out of my game and the team has been pushing me to get my head straight. Our team is getting better and better each game. This is the first team I've been on that is actually a team."
Dulce Flores, a late addition to the team scored two goals and added an assist.
