The Chabot women opened Friday's action with a highly satisfying 62-50 win over Skyline, avenging a 56-52 road loss to Skyline on Jan. 15. The win came on the heels of a rousing 54-35 victory over City College of San Francisco on Jan. 31.
Chabot (19-6, 5-2) enters the week in a three-way battle with Skyline and CCSF for the Coast-North title, each team with two defeats.
Nyah Willis paced Chabot with 19 points, and Zakiya Mahoney had 17 points. Kayla Tahaafe added 11 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
MORE WORK AHEAD: The Chabot men and women travel to district-rival Las Positas on Wednesday night in pursuit of season sweeps against the Hawks. The Chabot men are in fourth place in the conference with a 6-4 mark but only a game behind Las Positas and Foothill, both 7-3.
