City Rallies With 4-Run 5th to Beat Riverside
San Diego City played its first true road game of the season at Riverside on Wednesday and put together a 4-run 5th inning to turn a 4-1 deficit into a 7-5 victory.

Cali De La Rosa went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Sydney Letzing went 2-for-4 with two RBI as well.
Riverside got out to an early lead after scoring the game's first two runs in the bottom of the 1st on a 2-RBI double.
The Knights scored their first run in the top of the 3rd when Madison Stephensen's ground ball allowed De La Rosa to come home from third base.
In the bottom half of the 3rd, Riverside extended its lead to 4-1 after a sacrifice fly and an RBI-double, but the Knights battled back.
They loaded the bases in the top of the 4th with three singles and then Letzing hit a fourth to score Barajas.
City starting pitcher Lexi Lopez retired the side in the bottom of the 4th and then the Knights put together a big rally in the top of the 5th.
The Knights loaded the bases once again, with one out, and they took advantage. Hadley Phipps singled in a run and De La Rosa brought in another two runs on her double. After a pitching change, Letzing's ground ball produced a 4th run to give the Knights a 6-4 lead.
City added an insurance run in the top of the 6th when Mykala Mercado's single allowed Stephensen to come home from third base.
Riverside closed the gap to 7-5 after scoring a run in the bottom of the 6th, but Knights' reliever Phipps did not allow another run as City held on for the win.
The Knights will be off until Feb. 7 when they head to Cerro Coso for a doubleheader which starts at noon.
