VALLEY GLEN - For 90 minutes the Marauder women's soccer team played physical and it played even with L.A. Valley College and at the end of 90 minutes, nothing was solved.
AVC (4-2-3) played a great game defensively but couldn't put the ball in the net and managed a 0-0 tie with the Monarchs, Thursday afternoon at L.A. Valley College.
The Monarchs (1-5-1) outshot AVC 18-9 during the match.
"It was a hard fought game. I was very proud of our defensive effort," AVC head coach Charles Gordon said. "We played well. We had several opportunities, but unfortunately we just couldn't capitalize."
