SMC returned to the court with another sweep!

After a week off, SMC hosted local WSC program West LA last night.  Santa Monica came out to an early lead and never looked back in a 3-0 sweep (25-10, 25-20, 25-9).

The Corsairs were led by error-free attacking by freshman Opposite Reese Luke (Chugiak HS, Alaska).  The match was highlighted by a high energy team affair where everyone got to play multiple sets.

Freshman Libero Annah Legaspi continues to lead the state in Digs/Set, and is also hanging around the Top 5 in the state in total digs despite a week without matches.  Legaspi has played 4-6 fewer matches than those ahead in Total Digs.
