Volleyball Takes Two of Three Matches During Busy Weekend Against Ranked Opponents

The American River College Volleyball program completed a busy weekend that saw the Beavers take on three ranked opponents, winning two out of the three matches.
The Beavers began the weekend defeating #25 Santa Rosa Junior College 3-1 on Friday. The Beavers would win set one 25-23, set two 25-17, drop set three 24-26, and bounce back to win set four 25-21.
On Saturday, the Beavers would drop their match to #7 Fresno City College 3-1. The Beavers would win set one 25-15, but would drop the next three sets 25-14, 25-15, and 25-19. However, the Beavers would bounce back against #6 Feather River College by sweeping them 3-0. The Beavers would win set one 25-17, set two 25-20, and set three 27-25.
After the busy the weekend the Beavers improve to 15-3 overall and 4-1 in conference. The Beavers will have a break before traveling to take on another ranked opponent in #3 Sierra College at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, October 9th.
