Women's Soccer Blanked by Moorpark

MOORPARK, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's soccer team was shut out by Moorpark in a conference contest on the road in a 2-0 decision. | BOX SCORE

The Raiders (6-7-2) notched one goal in each half to secure the victory while limiting the Bulldogs (4-6-2) to just five total shots in the contest. Emely Graciliano Sanchez was the lone member of the Hancock squad to notched more than one shot attempt, finishing the contest with two total. Genesis Rodriguez recorded a career-high 17 saves during her second start in the box. 

Friday's outcome moves both teams to a 2-2-1 record in league action, placing them in a three-way tie for second along with Santa Barbara. Ventura remains at the top of the standings with a 4-0-1 record.

The Bulldogs are slated to return to action on Tuesday, October 19th, with a home showing versus Oxnard. Match time is set for 2 PM on the AHC Soccer Field.
