SOFTBALL DROPS TWO AT IMPERIAL VALLEY

The ladies were on the road Saturday, dropping a double header against Imperial Valley 3-2 and 4-3.
In game 1, the Panthers were scoreless going into the final inning before Cassandra Seymour and Marisa Mendoza scored to tie the game. IVC returned in the 7th with a single run to win the game.
In game 2, the Panthers took a 1st inning 1-0 lead before IVC scored two in the second. Chaffey again took the lead in the 6th (3-2) with IVC answering back to tie the game in the bottom of the 6th. The game remained tied 3-3 into the 9th with IVC scoring a single run to take the game 4-3.
The ladies travel to Cerritos Tuesday afternoon.
