This Week: The #3 seed Hawks advanced to the CCCAA Softball State Championship where they will take on the #2 seed Cypress College. The first pitch of the Hawks/Chargers game will be at 8 pm. 

Scouting the Hawks: Cosumnes River came in second in the Big 8 Conference regular season standings with a 33-7 overall record and a 20-4 record in conference play. Sophomore Malia Babasa leads the Hawks with a .426 batting average. Sophomore Tatiana Blas leads the Hawks in ERA with a 1.27 ERA.

Scouting the Chargers: Cypress finished with a 33-7 overall record and finished second in the Orange Empire Conference with a 17-4 record in conference play. Freshman Mickayla Galaviz leads the Chargers with a .450 batting average. Sophomore Kaitlyn Reynolds leads the Chargers with a 1.17 ERA.

Last Time Out: This will be the first meeting between the two schools this season. The two teams have no common opponents.
