COD (7-0; 6-0) continued their dominance of Conference opponents, playing a scheduled match-up, then a make-up match in a double header sweep of the Victor Valley Rams of Victorville (0-7; 0-6) 9-0 and 9-0.

In doubles play, the 1's team of freshman Joseph Corse (Murrieta DeCourcey Christian Academy) and sophomore Eita Ishikawa (Yokkaichi (JPN) Technical) won 8-0 in match 1 and 8-1 in match 2. The 2's team of freshman Hernan Quiroz (Calexico Vincent Memorial Catholic) and sophomore Matthew Shaw (Baker (LA) Inner City Learning Center) won 8-0 in both matches. And the 3's team of freshman Ian Rabtsevich (Minsk (BLR) Gymnasium 30) and freshman Nathan Caolie (San Juan Capistrano California Connections Academy) won 8-1 in the first match and 8-0 in the second match.

In match one, in singles play, Ishikawa and Shaw were the only players to allow any points in their dominate first match win, as Quiroz, Corse, Caolie and Rabtsevich effortlessly won in straight sets, 6-0 and 6-0. In match two, in singles play, Quiroz and freshman Ethan Auger (Ottawa (ON) Nepean) were the only players to allow any points in their dominate second match win, as Corse, Caolie, Shaw and Rabtsevich easily won in straight sets, 6-0 and 6-0.

The next match for the Roadrunners will be on March 14th at 2p, where they will continue Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) play, hosting the Imperial Valley Arabs.

College of the Desert defeated Victor Valley College, 9-0 in Game One of a double header in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play at College of the Desert in Palm Desert.
