Softball splits their double-header with Citrus
The Raiders Softball only had two games this, a doubleheader with Citrus and the Raiders and Owls split the games.
Citrus took game 1 6-0 limiting the Raiders to 3 hits. Leah Cowans went 2 for 2 and Danielle Bishop got the other Raiders hit.
Game 2 went more of the Raider's way. The Raiders scored first on Kylie Kolkowski's RBI single scoring Mia Gregory. Citrus came back and added 2 to take a 2-1 lead after 3. The Raiders scored runs in the 5th and 6th innings and 2 in the 7th after Citrus starter Caitlin Kelley was pulled.
Mia Gregory went 3 for 4 and scored twice. Kylie Kolkowski went 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs. Kailey Greene went 2 for 4 with a RBI and scored once. Isabella Velasquez had a double.
The Raiders head to Bakersfield on Tuesday, March 4th at 2:30p before opening defense of their WSC North crown at Cuesta, Thursday, March 6th, 2:30p
