Huntington Beach, CA – The Golden West College Rustlers continued their dominant season with a commanding 11-3 victory over the San Bernardino Valley College Wolverines at the GWC Softball Complex on Tuesday. With this win, the Rustlers improve to 11-2 on the season.

Golden West wasted no time setting the tone, plating two runs in the first inning. Reggi Frei got things started with a bunt single, bringing home Abbie Rainwater for the game's first run. An error by the Wolverines allowed another run to score, giving the Rustlers an early 2-0 lead.

After a sacrifice fly by Allyssa DeMayo in the third extended the lead to 3-0, the Rustlers exploded for six runs in the fourth inning. Key hits from Isabella Villegas, Sara Aguilar, and Frei broke the game open, with Aguilar's two-run double being a major highlight. Another RBI single from Lola Weber and a run-scoring hit from Mia Duda capped off the inning, giving Golden West a comfortable 9-0 advantage.

San Bernardino Valley managed to score three runs in the fifth, with Stephanie Varela delivering a two-run single and Sarah Montez reaching on an error to bring home another. However, Golden West quickly responded in the bottom of the inning. Rachel Keys lined a single to right, bringing in two more runs and sealing the 11-3 victory via run rule.

Rustlers' pitcher Angelique Perez (4-0) was stellar in the circle, tossing five innings of seven-hit ball while striking out two and walking none. San Bernardino Valley's Tabitha Cifuentes (0-1) took the loss after surrendering nine runs (five earned) over four innings.

Golden West's offense was relentless, racking up 13 hits while playing error-free defense. Frei led the way with three hits, two RBIs, and a stolen base, while Aguilar, Villegas, and Keys each drove in multiple runs.
