Citrus College put up a battle but came up short in the Western State Conference Third Place game with an 8-6 loss to Cuesta College.
The Owls slip to 16-15 overall, while the Cougars improve to 14-14.
Teghan Miller scored three goals for the Owls, who also saw goals from Delaney Latham, Mia Meldrum and Andrea Hayler.
Citrus got on the board first with three unanswered goals in the first quarter but couldn't hold off the comeback attempt from Cuesta.
The Owls wait to see their fate for the SoCal Regionals, which plays out Nov. 10-12 at Long Beach City College.
