5CTCA honors runner for Week 8 of cross country season
SALINAS - The 5CTCA congratulates the following athletes on their respective performances in Week #8.
Danna Ibarra Canales of Saddleback College produced the fastest 6km by a 3C2A runner at the UCR Highlander Invitational. Ibarra Canales ran 22:11.9 and is rapidly improving in her first year as a Bobcat.
Jordan Galindo of Mt.SAC surprised the field to take the individual victory on his home course at the Mt.SAC Invitational. His time of 21:08 secured the win by three seconds.
Chloe Allen placed second overall at the Butte College Invitational in 21:04. The College of the Redwoods runner is much improved in her sophomore campaign.
Daniel Trampe of Chabot College ran the fastest 8km by a 3C2A runner at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational. His time of 24:58 is the second sub-25 minute finish by a Northern California runner this fall.
