Lancers WWP Back In Action At Citrus Tourney

The Pasadena City College women's water polo team has fought through injuries to get back into play with two games at the Citrus Tournament on Friday. The Lancers lost to LA Valley, 12-7, and against San Diego Miramar, 13-4.

Luna Encinas netted five goals while Katie Ward totaled a goal, two assists, six steals and three field blocks in the Valley defeat. Gloria Gray had eight saves and Emily Padilla collected a goal and two assists.

Against Miramar, Gray scored her second goal of the season and other single goals were tallied by Encinas, Ward and Arwen Wen's first colleigate score.

On Wednesday, Oct. 18, PCC hosts East Los Angeles in a 3 p.m. South Coast Conference game at Pasadena Poly School.
