Golden West wins via forfeit
The Rustlers swept the Santiago Canyon Hawks for a dominant performance. Mackenzie Dorney and Maci Hendry began the matchup with a big sweep. Peyton McBride and Elyse Varipapa stepped up and also swept their opponent by double digits in both sets. Ashlyn Larson and Hayden Murray lost a set but redeemed themselves as they won the third duos meeting. Adriana Morales and Leslie Cambray won the final meeting as the Hawks forfeited the fifth couples matchup. Golden West earned their third conference win and fifth on the season.
NEXT UP: Golden West will host their next matchup against Fullerton and Cypress on Friday, March 15th. The Rustlers will take on the Hornets at 10am and Cypress at 12pm.
