Less than 24 hours from its last game, Citrus College had two games Friday and battled Modesto College to the final whistle in a tight 11-10 loss before falling 16-6 to Sierra College.
The Owls sit at 2-10 on the year after Friday's results.
Delaney Latham continued her offensive prowess and finished with six goals on the day, while Andrea Hayler added five goals. Elizabeth Walls scored twice in the opener and Citrus also saw goals from Genesis Moradel, Sarah Jurado and Hannah Wu.
The Owls are back in action at the San Joaquin Delta Invitational on Saturday, taking on Fresno College at 10 a.m. and the host Mustangs at 1 p.m.
