For the second time this season, Cerritos College freshman water polo player Jewels Longoria-Morasky (La Serna HS) scored goals in double-digits. On Wednesday in the Falcons 19-6 South Coast Conference win over Pasadena City College, Longoria-Morasky scored 11 goals, which was one shy of her season-best 12 goals against Santa Monica College. The Falcons scored on their first four possessions of the game, with three of them coming directly off steals. Although they had a few possession issues in the first half of the second period, Cerritos scored on their final five possessions heading into halftime.

It was a 12-0 game before Pasadena broke up the shutout attempt in the third period, with both teams eventually scoring four times in the period. Cerritos scored four times in a row to start the fourth period, with Longoria-Morasky and freshman Camila Oliveira (Cerritos HS) each accounting for two goals.

By the end of the game, the Falcons scored their 19 goals on 33 shots, with Oliveira registering five goals, five assists and five steals. Longoria-Morasky and freshman Delainey Garcia (California HS) also recording five steals. As for Garcia, she also had two goals and four assists in the win, with freshman goalkeeper Clairissa Nuno (Cerritos HS) posting 10 saves and also assisted on two goals.
