Citrus College dominated a 17-6 victory over Grossmont College to advance in the 2023 3C2A SoCal Regional Thursday.
The Owls improve to 15-15 on the year, while the Griffins end their season with a 10-15 mark.
Sierra Beltran and Andrea Hayler each had five goals in the game, with Beltran adding four steals and Hayler finished with five steals. Elizabeth Walls, Genesis Moradel and Sarah Jurado each scored two goals, while Delaney Latham also added a goal.
Isabella Romero made three saves in the cage, while Zoey Mendoza had four saves in the final quarter to help preserve the win.
The Owls take on second-seeded Riverside City College on Friday at 4:30 p.m. with a spot in the semifinals on the line.
